MALSHEJ GHAT RAILWAY LINE (KALYAN- MURBAD- JUNNER)

The proposed Kalyan-Ahmednagar rail link, covering altogether 25 stations, will start this fiscal, according to the Indian Railway sources. It was informed by the Central Railway to the Thane District Rail Passengers Association (TDRPA) through an official communiqué.

The link will connect 25 railway stations covering the three districts. Starting from Kalyan it would cover Vithalwadi, Ulhasnagar, Ambernath, Kambha Road, Apti, Potgaon, Murbad, Rav, Daheri, Milhe, Naptar Cabin, Bairranath Cabin, Madh and Junnar Road, Otur, Padanwadi, Malvadi, Katedwadi, Shidewadi, Wasunde, Dhotre, Dhalvani, Hamidpur and finally Ahmednagar. The 246 kms of railway line passes through the Ghat sections and hence some tunnels would also be constructed.

Nearest railway station to The Malshej Park would be Milhe or Madh. Approx. both the station is in 5 Min Drive or within 10 km radius.
